Small little sketch...
Continuing on a similar art approach, I sketched Riku in pencil, but then shoved some colors and haphazard textures on it in Photoshop. Hmm... Too harsh/dry looking? I wanted to mimic watercolors. I'm trying to find a good coloring tutorial for Painter for beginners.... as in, baby-step beginners. (Have have Painter IX.) I'm looking to find out how to bring the pencil lineart into Painter and then coloring. Photoshop is nice, but I really like the feel/look of Painter (seems more "natural"?) Recommendations appreciated! Thank you. |
