This took forever. I actually started this picture several months ago with a sketch of the guy, then I got stuck after coloring him in. I couldn't decide on a background - you should see the different versions I had lol (Sea-dragon, Lionfish, Cthulhu... well, a giant squid actually.) Then with some helpful advice from a few stout art critics, I used an anglerfish.  I wanted break away temporarily from fanart to do some original art - so, here you go! A Jellyfish herd and a Merman, but their faint glow attracts something more deadly than bargained for. Round 1, Merman versus Anglerfish! This will be available as a print, as soon as I figure the prints out. Yay!! My first official DA print! |
